Further: DO NOT MENTION SCANLATIONS TO THE AUTHORS. This is BASIC fandom 101; most authors DESPISE scanlations and will react VERY POORLY to them, so don’t tell them you loved the English version of their most recent comic if you run across them :| We scanlate to spread joy throughout the fandom and give these artists some well-deserved props–but they do not always appreciate them, and many outright AVOID the limelight and see internationalization as something frightening. So please, this only works for everyone if they get to keep their privacy and you keep your mouths shut! First rule of scanlating: YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT SCANLATING.
