Notes: This one-shot is the very first instance of Haikyuu!! ever! It’s rough, it’s unpolished, the team name isn’t even the same, but here you can see the very first appearances of Hinata, Kageyama, Tanaka, and Daichi, and how Hinata comes to play volleyball for Karas–erm, I mean Hiashi High School!
This manga was really difficult to come by and cost a pretty penny to obtain. As such, we’re asking for donations to help offset the crazy costs @___@ We purchased this as part of a set with Prototype B (which has already been scanlated by another group and involves a second-year Tsukishima, if you recall; this prototype manga came first and is even further removed from the final canon), so if you’re interested in helping us pay it off, please head over to Shoptember and purchase however many units’ worth you’d like to buy ^^ This is ONLY a donation; you won’t receive anything for it, I’m afraid ^^
However, we do have both magazines and are more than willing to part with them! This piece was REALLY difficult to clean, as these magazine scans were TERRIBLE quality, but the final product is amazing thanks to the crazy skills and hard work of Kurumi, without whose help we probably would have been too ashamed to share this @__@ Please give her ALL the praise! She’s going to help us bring Bubunhanten’s summer Comiket conclusion to her Pinky Promise piece as well, so look for that next!
