Notes: So, for some reason, while the chapter says “Chapter 2” (with a numeral and all), it ends with the words “The End”, and is listed on the official website as “Final Chapter”. This is pretty baffling to us, as 2-part stories are usually listed as “First half/Last half”, not numbered as if there will be many chapters. This was Inose’s first piece in Ciel, so it’s possible this was an experiment, and depending on response, it will continue. The story wraps up reasonably well, but it very much feels like just the beginning of the story. We prefer doing longer stories where our readers can get more invested, so we likely wouldn’t have picked this up if we’d known it would end with just two chapters. We’ll keep you updated if it continues, but for now, please enjoy!
