Hey all! Just a little update to let you know where we are (and that we’re very much not dead).
Omairi and Toritan just released their new volumes in October, so we’re in the process of scanning and cleaning the unfinished chapters in those, as we said we’d be doing in our previous announcement that we’d be shifting to a per-volume scanlation schedule rather than a per-chapter one (which is going to make things 80% cheaper, woohoo!). We’ll be working on getting those out, though do expect some delays as the end of the year is upon us and our group members do some holiday traveling. At worst, we’ll be back in business by the new year :)
“What about Honto Yajuu??” Unfortunately, HY is probably not going to have a new volume out until the Spring, as for the past few years, only one volume a year has come out, around April. We’ll be on that as well once it’s released, though, so don’t fret!
Sasaki and Miyano should also have a new volume out in early 2020 (what’s expected to be the final chapter included in the upcoming volume will be published next Friday, so that’ll probably be the cutoff for new content in that volume, meaning they can then get into the publishing/printing phase with probably a release a couple of months later).
Lots to look forward to on that front!
In other news, Shoptember has a few new time-sensitive items if you’re a PROMARE fan (and if you’re not, you absolutely should become one! Check out the trailer here and then look for a showing near you). If “A himbo firefighter and a fire-wielding mutant twink team up to stop climate change” doesn’t sound like great cinema to you, I don’t know what to tell you.
